CAR RENTAL AGREEMENT**

This Car Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into on this ___ day of __________, 20___, by and between **DMD Smith LLC** ("Owner") and **[Renter Name]** ("Renter").

**1. Vehicle**
The Owner agrees to rent to the Renter the vehicle described as follows:

- Model: **[Vehicle Model]**
- Year: **[Vehicle Year]**
- VIN: **[Vehicle Identification Number]**

**2. Rental Term**
The term of this Agreement shall commence on **[Start Date]** and shall continue until **[End Date]** unless terminated earlier in accordance with this Agreement.

**3. Rental Rate**
The Renter agrees to pay the Owner the sum of **$[Rental Amount]** per day/week/month (select one) as rent for the vehicle. Payment is due at the time of vehicle pickup or as otherwise agreed.

**4. Security Deposit**
The Renter shall pay a security deposit of **$[Deposit Amount]** at the time of signing this Agreement. The security deposit is refundable upon return of the vehicle in the same condition as at the commencement of the rental period, subject to any deductions for damage, excessive wear and tear, or unpaid charges.

**5. Mileage Allowance**
The rental includes 200 miles per day. Any additional mileage will be charged at a rate of $0.26 per mile.

**6. Authorized Drivers**
No one is to drive the vehicle but the authorized driver(s) listed in this Agreement unless approved by the Owner in writing. The authorized driver(s) are:

**7. Use of Vehicle**
The Renter agrees to use the vehicle in a lawful manner and to comply with all applicable traffic laws and regulations. The Renter shall not use the vehicle for any illegal purpose or operate the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

**8. Insurance**
The Renter agrees to provide proof of insurance coverage before taking possession of the vehicle. The insurance must cover liability, collision, and comprehensive coverage for the rented vehicle.

**9. Maintenance and Repairs**
The Renter agrees to maintain the vehicle in good condition and to notify the Owner immediately of any mechanical issues. The Renter shall not perform any repairs on the vehicle without the Owner's prior written consent.

**10. Responsibility for Damages and Fees**
The Renter must pay for all damages that occur to the vehicle during the rental period, as well as any impound fees, towing charges, or any other related fees that may arise.

**11. Fuel Policy**
The Renter agrees to return the vehicle with the same level of fuel as at the commencement of the rental period. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, the Renter will be charged $20 inconvenience fee plus the price to refill.

**12. Return of Vehicle**
The Renter agrees to return the vehicle to the Owner at **[Return Location]** on or before **[End Date]** in the same condition as at the commencement of the rental period, except for normal wear and tear.

**13. Late Return**
If the vehicle is returned later than the agreed upon return date and time, the Renter shall pay a late return fee of **$[Late Fee Amount]** per hour/day (select one).

**14. Governing Law**
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of **[State]**.

**15. Entire Agreement**
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior understandings, agreements, or representations, whether oral or written.
